Get Chunky is the place to go for out-of-this-world cookies. Kyra Mcnally, the owner, has an adolescent fascination with Betty Crocker cookies. 

That sparked her interest in baking and experimenting with cookie recipes. His uncle once gave her cookies from New York’s famed Levain Bakery. After taking a taste, she was eager to obtain the recipe for a cookie similar to those found in New York. It took a lot of trial and error for her to find the correct method.

When she became proficient at preparing the cookies, she decided to sell some of them at the Freemantle market. She was startled when the cookies ran out in just two hours. That’s what motivated her to fulfill her childhood fantasy of owning a bakery, leading to the Get Chunky menu.

Every day, Get Chunky cookies are prepared by hand, weighed by hand, and baked without the use of preservatives. The cookies are available in a variety of flavors, including oatmeal raisin, triple chocolate, s’mores, milk chocolate, praline walnut, coffee and white chocolate, and peanut butter chips. 

The Cherry Chock Chunk cookie is one of their vegan-friendly offerings. Get Chuny cookies are three times the size of regular cookies. Nutella and Ferrero Rocher cookies are among their most recent varieties. A cookie sandwich with ice cream on top is also available. 

Get Chunky also sells edible cookie dough in vanilla and chocolate flavors, with the option of adding nuts, M&Ms, or Nutella. Mcnally admits that some of the tastes are influenced by the Levain bakery, but with her own twist. Get chunky cookies that can be kept at room temperature for up to 4 days and frozen for up to 2 months.
