On September 7, 2017, it underwent a rebranding that resulted in a new name and logo. In 1991, the eatery began franchising the company that opened four additional Lone Star locations in the US. They gradually experience more success, which prompts them to expand their business globally. 

In January 1993, one of its first eateries outside of the nation where it was founded opened in Parramatta, Australia. Australia has seen a spike in Lone Star’s popularity. As a result, a total of 24 branches were established around the country to accommodate more individuals wanting its juicy and excellent rib steaks. It has nine stores in New South Wales, eight stores in Queensland, two stores in South Australia, and five stores in Western Australia.
