Wendy’s is a fast food restaurant chain based out of England. The company was founded in 1967 by Richard Bourne and his wife Wendy Bourne. In 2002, the company went public and became a publicly traded corporation under the symbol WEN. In 2004, the company acquired its first franchise location in the United States. Today, the company operates over 1,500 locations worldwide.

The first Wendy’s opened in 1969 in Castleford, Yorkshire, England. The restaurant serves hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, soft drinks, and shakes.

In 1992, Wendy’s introduced the Wendy’s Kids menu. The kids menu includes kid-sized burgers, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, french fries, and soft drinks.
