10 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed (quantity for 4 margaritas)
For every margarita
- Handfuls of ice
- 2 oz. silver tequila
- 2 oz. strawberry puree
- ½ ounce Simple Syrup with basil
- Sea salt for the glass rim, optional
- 1-ounce orange liqueur, we adore Cointreau
- Fresh strawberries and fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- 1-ounce sparkling lime juice, plus wedges for the glass and for garnish
